Information we use

We store your sign-in identifier, verified college email or first-year roll number, private profile details, preferences, interests, matches, messages, reveal choices, reports and blocks. We record recent activity for online and typing indicators and rate limits to prevent abuse.

What your match can see

Before mutual reveal, only your anonymous ID, college, year, general age range, common interests and compatibility score are shown. Your match can see messages you send. Your email, roll number and exact age are never included in a match response. Name, branch and optional Instagram ID are shared only if selected by you and both people consent.

How information is processed

The service uses hosted database storage and ChatGPT sign-in. A configured email provider delivers college verification codes. Email verification establishes control of an allowed mailbox; it cannot independently prove current enrolment or age. Profile details are used for matching, not a public profile feed.

Conversations and moderation

Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized moderators may review reported conversations. Blocking or ending a chat stops further conversation but does not automatically erase its records. Never assume a recipient cannot copy information you share.

Retention and control

Records are retained to operate matching and review safety reports. This release does not offer automatic account deletion or a defined retention schedule. Before campus registration opens, the operator must publish a privacy contact and retention/deletion procedure. Do not submit sensitive information.

Before campus launch

The operator must confirm student email domains, appoint moderators, publish a support and privacy contact, and finalize retention and deletion procedures before opening this private release to students.
